Tamtech 1/24th MG90S Servo Cover
thingiverse
As I prepare my Tamtech 1/24th Ferrari Testarossa for running, I've taken the bold step of removing all the outdated electronics and replacing them with cutting-edge kits. The stock servo from the '80's has been traded in for a Turnigy MG90S, a budget-friendly powerhouse that's easily accessible and packs enough punch to get the job done. To make this swap seamless, you'll need to take a precision cut of one of the mounting tabs to accommodate the new servo. I've opted to repurpose one of the servo arms that came with the package for a snug fit. Although the placement is slightly off-center due to the added space required for the servo cable, rest assured this won't impact performance in any way.
