This replacement end cap safeguards the rear component of Tamron Adaptall 2 lenses without an adapter attached. The original rear caps are notoriously fragile, a problem that has grown worse over time due to age and the plastics becoming brittle. Those available for purchase command a ridiculous price, so I decided to design my own solution.\r\n\r\nAlthough the overall height is less than the original, there is more internal clearance. I've tested the design on several lenses including the SP 2x Teleconvertor which has a protruding rear element.\r\n\r\nI printed it in PLA with no supports and it appears to be strong enough.
