Tamron 100 400 tripod collar handle
thingiverse
This is a customized handle for the Tamron 100-400 lens, designed to be attached to the tripod collar mount. I plan to add a part that will allow it to screw onto a tripod when I have time to design it. For now, this handle makes it easier to carry around both the lens and camera. I printed the handle using PLA and PETG. A suggestion is to print it at a 45-degree angle, with the part between the handle and collar on the bed. This will result in stronger layers and reduce the risk of a ruined print if supports are not used. The specifications I used for this print include 3mm walls and 2mm top and bottom thicknesses. The fan was set to 100% after the second layer had been completed. To assemble the handle, you will need a bolt with a 10mm head and a 6mm diameter, as well as a relative nut. I also used a washer in my assembly.
