Tampon Magazine

I'm trying to make a contribution to Thingiverse by creating functional prints for women, as there aren't many available options currently. The only tampon holder on the platform is described as a joke, which doesn't seem right given that these items are essential for nearly all women. So, I decided to create one here. This design isn't the most space-efficient, but it's better than having your tampons fall out of their flimsy box and rolling around at the bottom of your bag. It's also a lot of fun to load up like an action heroine when you're feeling down. You can even use it with one hand, leaving the other free to take on villains! Really, these villains would have to be inconsiderate and have terrible timing for that to happen. The magazine holds six OB Pro Comfort "Normal" tampons or any others that are 13mm x 52mm in size. It should scale well to fit similar-shaped tampons. You can find the TinkerCAD model here if you want to add text or decorations: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/gnOJgQYpBFs-tampon-magazine. The spring goes into the bottom plate, and then that assembly gets inserted into the magazine and secured with superglue. I use PLA on most of my prints and it works great when used with superglue. Just make sure there's a good fit with no gaps and only use a tiny bit. I made a short YouTube video showing how to assemble this print and my 3D printing workflow: https://youtu.be/ugxOl6tMnM4. It's my first build video, so I'm not sure if it will be useful. Here are some notes on the design: * Two shells with four top and bottom layers seem to work okay. * If you like this and want to see more of my projects or a bit of my life in Shenzhen, China, you can check out these links: ►Twitter: https://twitter.com/RealSexyCyborg ►My Photo Albums: http://sexycyborg.imgur.com ►YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/c/SexyCyborg ►My FAQ: http://pastebin.com/V3474kYs
