Tampon Magazine

There aren't many practical prints for women on Thingiverse, so I decided it's a good opportunity to make a contribution. The only tampon holder on the site is described as a "joke," but I know the Maker community values innovation and accessibility. Essential items like these are used by almost all women, so I thought we should have at least one functional design here. This print isn't the most space-efficient, but it's better than watching your tampons spill out of that flimsy box and scatter around in the bottom of your bag. It's also a lot of fun to load up like an action heroine when you're feeling under the weather. You can even use it with one hand, leaving the other free to take on villains - really, really inconsiderate villains with terrible timing, haha! The magazine holds six OB Pro Comfort "Normal" tampons or any 13mm x 52mm tampon that fits the same approximate shape. The TinkerCAD model is available for modification: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/gnOJgQYpBFs-tampon-magazine. The spring slides into the bottom plate, which then gets inserted into the magazine and secured with a tiny bit of superglue. I use superglue and PLA on almost all my prints, and it works great as long as there's a good fit with no gaps and just a little bit is used. You can find a short YouTube video showing my 3D printing workflow and assembly instructions for this print: https://youtu.be/ugxOl6tMnM4. It's my first build video, so I'm not sure how useful it will be. Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% Notes: Two shells and four top and bottom layers seem to work okay.
