Tamping station
thingiverse
This is a tamping and grinding rest stop for portafilters used with ROK espresso makers, featuring a detachable funnel designed for use with the ROK coffee grinder. Ditch the inconvenient metal cup that comes with it and grind your coffee directly into your portafilter instead! It's likely to fit portafilters from different brands too, but it's best to measure the CAD data before printing it out. Because of its excessively smooth surface, the original file has a pretty high poly-count. If you need a lower resolution for any reason, try using one of the two lo-res alternatives or smooth it down to your needs with the original Blender file. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: It doesn't matter what you do here. Supports: Yes, use supports if necessary. Resolution: 0.1mm is a good starting point. Infill: Use 40% infill to get the job done efficiently. Notes: Filament: Extrudr Fichte (wood) is the recommended material. Nozzle size: A 0.6mm nozzle is ideal for this print. Nozzle temp: Heat it up to 220°C and let it do its magic. Bed temp: Keep the bed temperature at a comfortable 50°C. Speed: Print at 60mm/s to get the job done quickly. Wall speed: Slow down to 50mm/s when printing walls. Number of walls: Two walls are enough for this design. Fans: Run them at full speed, 100%. Support is recommended for angles above 88% because there's a cavity on the bottom that needs support. I added this cavity to reduce bed-adhesion and make removal easier. Otherwise, it might be difficult to remove the print without damaging the base.
