Tamiya Wrecker - Power Box
thingiverse
This Thing is a power distribution box for Tamiya's FH16 Wrecker. It allows mounting of 2 XT60 and 3 XT30 connectors for connecting accessories to the main battery. The box fits behind the cab in the gab between the sides of the rear body. Parts Required: 1 XT60 Male 1 XT60 Female 3 XT30 Male 2 XT60 mounting plates 3 XT30 mounting plates 10 M2x6 screws 2 M3x16 4 M3x8 There are a few variants of the XT60's and 30's, due to fairly tight tolerances you'll need to source a specific type as pictured. The mounting plates can be found on Banggood, Aliexpress and from various model shops. They're a small black PCB that solders to the connector posts adding solid mounting lugs. Once the connectors are fitted to the box you just need to solder some nice chunky wire to connect all the +'s and -'s. 12 AWG is good for the XT60's as they'll be seeing the motor current, 16AWG is fine for the XT30's. Skip to around 9 minutes to see the box with some description. https://youtu.be/ps9EY54q9Hw?t=539
