If you're looking to install a sturdy hard-cased LiPo into your Tamiya TT01, the standard posts just won't cut it - they're too short. So, I extended them, creating my own custom version that's 3mm longer than the original tuned posts. Need something different? Just let me know and I can upload a custom size for you to use. These custom posts measure in at an impressive 32mm long compared to the standard 29mm stock units. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Anything under 0.3 is perfect for this print. Infill: 90% or more - that's the ticket! Notes: To give them an extra boost, I opted for PET instead of regular plastic, and trust me, it makes all the difference. You can use ABS or PLA if you prefer, it's totally up to you. For optimal results, print multiple units at once and let each layer cool slightly before moving on. Post-Printing Holes: Be aware that my custom posts resulted in a 2mm pin hole that shrunk during printing - don't forget to re-drill them accordingly! The base is designed to accommodate an M3 self-tapping screw, so make sure you're drilling the right size. And as a bonus tip: be prepared to snip a little off the flat edges to ensure smooth installation into your bathtub chassis' hole.
