Installation video: https://youtu.be/JZTOS8b_DTg This is a set of files to allow you to hinge mount an Axial Capra 4WS Cage to your Tamiya TT-02 Chassis. Disclaimer: This will require modifications to Capra cage as well as to parts of the TT-02 chassis in order to mount the body as these products were never intended/designed to work together in any way. Modify at your own risk, I will not be held responsible for damage to parts or self should you decide to take on this project. Included with your purchase: Front body mount: Chassis tower support (requires Tamiya TT-02 front body posts) and cage cross member Rear body hinge: Files for hinge assembly (requires metal tube 3mm or 1/8in inner diameter) Front cage mount assembly: Glue “front mount base upright” to the side of “front mount base” (see images) Install glued front mount into chassis with the vertical side to the front of the vehicle Cut body posts to length and drill holes perpendicular to the original holes (see images) Bolt body posts into the front mount Bolt “front mount cage cross member” into the Capra chassis through the built in shock mounting holes Rear cage hinge assembly: Glue “Hinge Tower Passenger” and “Hinge Tower Driver to the side of “Mount to Suspension Capture” Glue the opposite ends of the hinge towers to the top of “Mount to Shock Tower” (can be done installed to ensure alignment or done uninstalled) Cut metal tube to length (approx. 54mm) Drill holes in hinge towers as needed to install the metal tube (a press fit is ideal but not required) Install metal tube into the rear hinge towers (glue in place, especially if holes are loose) Install rear hinge assembly into cage (cannot install cage after hinge is installed due to cage geometry, trimming of rear section most likely required to clear bars) Install cage and rear hinge onto your TT-02 chassis (see images) These parts were tested successful for an Axial Capra 4WS cage (AXI231045 or AXI231044) and should work for a standard Axial Capra cage (AXI231006) however there will likely be interference with the rear shocks as the rear of the cage has less clearance than the 4WS variant.
