Tamiya TT-01 slipper cluch (doesn't fit)
thingiverse
Doesn't quite fit, applied tolerances where too tight. and together with the helical gear profile which apparently increases gear sizes the meshing is not possible. will leave it up here untill fixed, or just as inspirational source. Added a 22T pinion .stl as that was needed. not relevant for slipper clutch project. Printed a 22T pinion first and that worked well beyond just being noisy. So wanted to increase the durability of the system by adding a slipper clutch into the system to get rid of the shock loads of driving hard/off road. Double helical gears in order to try and keep everything centered with the added benefit of incresed smooth/even power/load transfer between the pinion and spur gears. upto 10x din912 m2 (length 7-8 mm) screws to lock it in place, might be recommended to use some thin rubber band*(or O-ring) between the screw head and the locking part to function as a spring. Some grease might be needed between the friction surfaces to prevent welding them together as a contaminant. printed with some support.
