These parts enable standard rectangular 7.4V Lipo usage and accommodate a 7.4V shorty Lipo. The standard battery plates and posts remain in place to hold the battery securely. An extra bar is used to set optimal spacing for a shorty lipo, which can be secured with M3 bolts or a M3 stud/thumbscrew. NOTICE: This will necessitate drilling two holes into the chassis. Additional holes must be drilled on both sides to provide an extra mounting location (10 mm in front of the frontmost mount) - necessary to clear the upper deck mount due to its interference with a rectangular Lipo. Two versions are available, one for the 2017 re-release chassis and another for earlier models. The earlier version may fit a 2017 chassis but might be too wide with the undertray. 1991/2005 chassis are approximately 3 mm narrower between battery attachments.
