Tamiya Thundershot part F
thingiverse
This serves as a makeshift replacement for sections F1 and F2 of the Tamiya Thundershot, handling the front drive shafts and steering assembly. Damage to the brass ball joint caused mine to break. This printable component is unlikely to be long-lasting and merely offers an expedient solution while awaiting genuine parts arrival. The OpenSCAD source code accompanies this for anyone interested in modifying tolerances and regenerating STL data. I fabricated this part using PLA with a 30% infill density, although printing it solidly with ABS might enhance durability.
