Rear shock tower mount/bulkhead designed specifically for the Tamiya Super Astute. This adaptable design can be easily modified to fit the Tamiya Astute, however, the upper turnbuckle mount has undergone significant modifications. This enhanced mount features a sleek upgrade by replacing press nuts with M3 locknuts, providing a secure and streamlined attachment system. Additionally, clips have been strategically added to space out the turnbuckle mount, ensuring optimal stability and performance. To ensure precise mounting, tap the physical holes with a M3 tap for a smooth and hassle-free assembly process. Update: The design has undergone further refinement (V2) which incorporates a tapered mounting hole, allowing for effortless slicing during printing. This upgrade also includes adjustments to the roll bar slot, ensuring optimal alignment and stability on most printers. Update: While fine-tuning the lower mounting chassis plate, a critical error in the mounting pattern was discovered, measuring 0.5 mm off-center. Although V1/V2 versions may still mount securely, some reaming of the non-tapped hole may be necessary to achieve perfect alignment.
