In case your prehistoric Tamiya Spray-Works compressor shaft has broken, we've got you covered with a replacement. First, remove any grease from the original shaft and plastic leftovers from the shaft and metal pin. Get ready to use super glue. This part can be used as either an upper or lower motor shaft. Insert the pin first. You can use heat to melt it in place, drill it and then super glue it, or try a combination of both. Next, slide the 6-sided nut from the original motor shaft into the replacement part. Add a shim between the gearbox and the new part (I used a piece of plastic blister packaging). Then apply some super glue. Press in the plug, and add even more super glue. Let it sit for a day or two, depending on how much glue you use. For lubrication, I used white lithium grease, but any non-plastic-dissolving grease should work just fine. I printed this part using Fillamentum PLA, but you can use any material you like (no need to go crazy with carbon fibers, etc.). The compressor shaft isn't the strongest part of the plastic anyway.
