This is a Dashboard for the Tamiya Sand Rover that can be made into an illuminated Dash by fitting a Diode . There are two designs , one is a simple plate that cannot be illuminated and can be simply glued on , the other is a multi piece design including a drill template that can be screwed on . The illuminated version is split into two visible parts , the part with the dials needs to be printed in a clear transparent resin , it must be masked off at the back when painting , when the front is painted and dry use fine sand paper to sand of the paint from the dial details that are proud of the surface , after painting and sanding the front part of the dash I'd recommend using an M3 Tap to cut the threads in the two holes for screws ,now you can glue the front part of the dash to the rear part with the dials . use the template , a simple oval plate with holes in , to mark on the body with a marker pen where you wish to fit the dash and drill the holes . Now you can fit the dash through the holes in the body and secure it with the rear light bucket using two short M3 screws , the LED can now be inserted into the hole in the light bucket .
