Tamiya Robot Platform Upper v1
thingiverse
This robot project involves using Tamiya track parts kits and incorporates 3D printed components for ease of assembly. An upper piece is designed to accommodate a 12mm x 24mm servo while concealing battery packs and wires, fitting specifically with the wooden block from a Tamiya track kit. However, it can also be attached using self-tapping screws to other surfaces. As more parts arrive, this component will likely evolve to support an array of sensors, initially intended for mounting a sonar sensor. The model was made in Google Sketchup with no reported issues concerning holes, and printing it with hex infill is recommended due to the sloped piece's size.
