Tamiya Paint Storage Spool

Inspired by numerous filament spool storage ideas on Thingiverse, I introduce a storage spool specifically designed for large Tamiya paint bottles. This design utilizes MakerGeeks filament spools, but can also accommodate spools with an 8" outer diameter and approximately 2" inner diameter. These storage units can be stacked on a piece of 1 1/2" diameter plastic pipe by creating a disc from rigid material, such as thin plywood, and attaching it to the bottom end of the pipe using angle brackets. To assemble these spools, print five "Tamiya Spool" files for each layer desired. The "Spool Shim" parts are used to adjust the inner diameter of the spool to fit snugly onto the 1.5" plastic pipe, while the "Spool Disc" parts serve as intermediate layers between the spools, ensuring smooth rotation.
