Tamiya Manta Ray Wing Mount Clamp

This is a specially designed wing mount clamp compatible with a Tamiya Manta Ray chassis or similar models like the Dirt Thrasher. I created this part because I had a chassis that was missing it, so I took matters into my own hands and made one myself. Unlike the stock Manta Ray or Top Force versions, this design has its own unique features. The original Manta Ray clamp was engineered for self-tapping screws, which meant the holes were quite deep. In contrast, the Top Force version incorporates metal inserts for machine screws, providing added security and minimizing the overall profile of the part. My custom-made clamp offers a different solution - it includes space to use machine screws with nuts, eliminating the need to find those small Tamiya inserts. Additionally, I've included replacement parts for the tiny washers on the top side of the wing mount.
