Tamiya King Hauler V3 with 3 speed tranny

This is the final upgrade I'll make to this truck; I might tweak some parts if I think they can be improved, but right now, I'm confident that there's nothing on this truck that can't be left as it is. To take your V2 to a V3, you only need to reprint these components: Required Parts for Upgrade to 3-Speed Tranny: Drive Shaft A New Frame Required Linkage Set New Hubs Set 3-Speed Tranny Required Tranny Shifter Parts Required Servo Arms 2 Tank and Toolbox Spacers Required (these will no longer bolt directly to the frame) Optional Upgrades: Diff Center Gear and New Axles and Spacers: This upgrade centers the diff shafts and gear, especially in the front where one side was shorter due to different spacers. Install a 1mm spacer on both sides of the center gear when installing shafts; these are cut out so that they only install while putting in axles. This ensures the axles remain the same length on both sides. 2 Axle Washers on Each Front Wheel Shafts: When installing wheels, this takes out the wobble in the front wheels and hub and bearings. The new inner diff gear and axles are loose; do not use glue in the front diff, allowing the inner axles to be pulled all the way through the bearing on the hub. Use glue on the rear diff center gear and axles so that they don't come out; this also allows the center gear and axles to self-center in the differential. I'm considering set screws for the axles in the next upgrade, but for now, just use glue, and I'm sure no one will want to take it apart again for a couple of set screws. Changes: Removed some wheel tread; understand why Tamiya has no tread with this gear box. If the truck is blocked by a wall or chair and wheels stop on carpet, the gear box will start skipping gears and potentially damage the whole gearbox. Hopefully, with less tread, the wheels will just spin on carpet. The windows frames are now just frames to glue thin clear plastic for windows; use blister packs, as this stuff is perfect for G-scale building windows and car/truck windows. Added the Tamiya 3-Speed Tranny. Made an interior roof light to light up the interior and driver; used the status light but think it should be wired to the two outside roof marker lights, keeping the status light by the power switch. Changed front-end steering and added a second servo for tranny. Moved front-end steering, put connecting rod in back of steering, shortened steering arms matching Tamiya arms travel. Changed repaired offset of wheels axles caused by not same spacers; now 1mm spacer goes on both ends of center gear making the front axles fit better into hubs. Removed horn and roof marker lights to be printed upright or on a SLA printer for cleaner printing. Kept the old cab and roof lights if you can't properly print lights and horns. Split the exhaust stacks so that all chrome parts can be printed on a SLA printer again for cleaner printing, chromed with a smoother surface. Added 3 holes in rims for 2mm screws and bolts to line up and screw rims together.
