I've been trying to resurrect an old Tamiya Hornet by just 3D printing the parts I need. I didn't quickly find some original style ball mounts, so I modified some Grasshopper style mounts in Tinkercad and they seem to work! My initial print was with PLA just for fitment with the intent to reprint using PETG but i have yet to break them so I've not reprinted them yet. They are not all that pretty but they don't need to be.
