Convert your Hornet or Grassopper's rear suspension to a 4 link setup. Requires the folloing items to complete. 1pcs_____25mm M3 Hex coupling Socket Cap Screws: 2pcs_M3x35mm 1pc___M3x22mm 2pcsM3x10mm 1pc___M3x40mm 2pcsM3x18mm 2pcsM3x25mm 2PCS__M3x28mm Links There are 2 ways you can make the links. 1- use bent rod ends with a straight threaded rod(easiest) 2- Use some M3 threaded rod and bend each end approximatly 45° to use with regular rod ends(this is how I made theones in the pictures and video. Special note... If you want to use a Silver can or similar length motor you will need Offset Ball Ends with bent threaded rods to clear the motor. I suggest using a rebuildable motor as they tend to be shorter and will not get in the way. Either way you wil need rods of these lengths mesured center to center, hole to hole: 2pcs_Upper links --- 53mm 2pcs_Lower links----57mm Shocks 2pcs 80mm Center to center small bore shocks like these, http://asiate.es/aff?l=155697&i=35116 Modifications: 1- On the rear shock tower arms there is a part in the center that needs to be removed. 2- Depending on the body you are using you will need to trim around the rear Shock towers to clear room for the new extentions. 6x12x4mm Spacers(I used Clod Buster plasctic Bushings) are needed on the rear for the Grasshopper body mounts(See pics) https://youtu.be/WjZJiyG719w
