I've Built an Accurate Model of the Fabled Battery Cover on My Tamiya Grasshopper and Hornet. Breaking those infamous battery covers has been a rite of passage for many modelers; I know firsthand that agony, so here's my solution - an accurate 3D printed replica that mimics mine perfectly. The model comes in two variations. The one with the file ending "01" boasts a raised grab tab just like the original. If you prefer an easy printing experience without any extra supports or elevation fuss, go for the version labeled with the file ending "02". Its flat tab ensures hassle-free 3D printing. Print Settings Rafts: You're good to go either way - the results won't change. Supports: Similarly, your choices don't matter in this case. Either option will do fine. Notes:
