Tamiya Boomerang/Hot Shot II/Bigwig/Super Sabre Rear Upper Arms
thingiverse
This is the rear upper H-arm for a variety of vintage Tamiya vehicles (Boomerang, Hot Shot II, Bigwig, and Super Sabre). This design is a modified version of the original. The original design was unique for the LH and RH side. This design is not - so it will work on either side of the car. It also removes the suspension down stop - so you may need to place a travel limiter inside the shock to avoid damage. The travel limiter on the original design would often break and render the arm useless (as this was also the same area that the threaded hinge pin needed for thread engagement). It is also a bit more stout - so it will weigh more than the original thin walled (but still relatively stiff) design. There is quite a bit more material around the pivots - which should help with strength - although the front jog does get thin. Ream the hinge pin holes with a 3 mm drill bit (should not require much with the current clearance hole in the models). The inner and outer pivots may require a light filing/sanding. NOTE: I have only printed an earlier revision of this design and have not done any thorough on vehicle testing yet.
