Tamiya 959 suspension arms were crafted to preserve the original parts, now scarce and costly. The motivation was to safeguard these rare components. At that time, Tinkercad was the only CAD software I was familiar with. Creating complex designs like this one proved to be a challenging task, yet the custom-made suspension arms fit perfectly and brought me satisfaction. To achieve optimal results, the rear arms were printed upright with support in place. This design decision provided enhanced strength at critical points where original parts tend to fail (shock mount). Flat printing might have been more suitable, but a set of these custom arms has performed well without any breakage. To ensure proper fitment, pivot holes were drilled using a 3.1mm drill bit, and screw holes were tapped for secure fastening.
