This case is designed specifically for all early Tamiya R/C cars and trucks that use a 5-cell, 6-volt battery. Now you have the option to create your own custom battery case using 3D printing technology, preserving the original casing as a display piece. The base of the case features a precise cutout for the battery label, accompanied by a spacer with a 0.2mm height gap that facilitates easy bridging over this area when the print is complete. Once finished, simply remove the window to reveal the recessed label area. This design allows you to print the case flat on your printer's bed without requiring any supports. The recommended layer height for optimal results is 0.2mm. The included PDF file enables you to create and print your own custom battery decals for the bottom recess of the case, giving you complete control over its appearance. After assembling the two halves together once you've tested the battery, your new case will be fully functional and indistinguishable from the original.
