This is a custom 5-Cell 6-Volt Battery case designed specifically for early Tamiya R/C cars and trucks. Now, you can 3D print your own replacement and preserve the original as a display piece. The bottom of the case features a precision-cut window for the battery label. A built-in spacer with a 0.2mm height gap facilitates bridging over the area during printing. Once complete, simply remove the window to reveal the recessed label area. This design is optimized to print flat on your printer's bed without requiring any supports. It can be printed using a layer height of 0.2mm. The included PDF file enables you to create and print custom battery decals for the bottom recess. This ensures an authentic look that matches the original equipment. To assemble the case, apply glue to the two halves when the battery has been tested and verified. Once bonded together, your new custom battery case will be complete and identical in appearance to the original.
