Object ID: 2001.315.001 The Holocaust Memorial Museum of Florida's Permanent Collection A Tambourine Made from Torah Scroll Parchment Used as a Drumhead Emerges. During the Nazi occupation, synagogues and sacred objects were ruthlessly destroyed, while holy books were desecrated without mercy. People discovered that Torah scroll parchments could be repurposed to create other essential items. Torah scrolls were transformed into wallets, handbags, envelopes, and even musical instruments. 3D model created using digital photogrammetry with 274 photographs (Nikon D3400, resolution 6000 x 4000) processed through Agisoft Metashape software.
