Tamar 2.8m Kayak Trolley Wheel Modifications

This is a modification that allows a better fit of the cheap kayak cart sold with the Tamar 2.8m fishing Kayak in Australia. Without a mod like this the cart uprights “slop” around in the molded holes in the Tamar kayak. As can be seen in the photos, the cart itself was also modified to suit the kayak haul better. I also found using the holes under the seat (as opposed to the holes at the rear of the kayak) made the kayak very light to wheel around and less downwards force at the front when wheeling it along. Note the adjustment knobs supplied with the cart have been replaced with SS nuts and bolts - once set up you do not need any adjustment anyway.
