Talos One Model with Stand
thingiverse
Talos One meticulously reassembled from the in-game model using Blender's precise tools, while maintaining the core geometry of the original design. However, to ensure smooth printing and optimal results, excessive details were skillfully omitted (reducing the intricate model from 2 million vertices to approximately 32,000). This revised iteration is the result of numerous adjustments made during the printing process, with all major flaws carefully addressed. Geometric errors and self-collisions have been seamlessly resolved. The model now features a sturdy stand, adding a touch of elegance to its overall design. Each component was printed with robust supports in place, requiring an impressive 100 hours of dedicated time. This print is not recommended for those who prefer a quick turnaround or are easily deterred by complex projects. Notably, the model was printed at a layer height of 0.1mm, reaching a remarkable height of 30cm. While thicker layers may be used for most parts, caution should be exercised when printing the text on the shielding to achieve the desired level of detail.
