Talon Claw SMG AR15 - A short Caliburn
cults3d
I'm sharing just the files that set my Talon Claw apart from its non-takedown counterpart, with all hardware identical. The front cover features a long print to capture intricate details in PLA. To achieve this level of detail, I employed a .2mm print resolution and printed at a slow pace due to its tall design, requiring 22 hours to complete. Please note that you can use any of the rear butts, pistons, sliding shoulder stock, or fixed shoulder stock from my other files. In terms of gameplay, I find that a TC without a cover works best for me, as it allows for easier gripping of the regular handle. However, if you prefer the AFG grip, this design does look nice. My model is inspired by an AR15 design I found online, closely replicated to resemble one. I wouldn't recommend building this variant as your first Caliburn or TC; instead, start with the standard version. The front cover lacks print-to-print contact points and requires nylon thread covers for secure assembly. Edit: This stock accommodates a rear extension tube, printed at .2mm resolution. The fit is very snug when paired with my design.
