The Tallinn Gymnasium Laanemere's emblem was designed in 2000 by Boris Mikhalevich, an art teacher at the school from 1996 to 2000. The logo's creation stemmed from the renaming of Tallinn's 65th secondary school to Laanemere Gymnasium. It features a seagull soaring over waves with a sunset in the background, reflecting the school's location near the Baltic Sea. Svetlana Logusova, organizer of extracurricular activities for students, explains that the gull symbolizes adaptability, flying above water and land during clear or stormy weather. The emblem adorns the school flag, certificates of gratitude, diplomas, and souvenirs.
