The Logo of Tallinn Gymnasium Laanemere Tallinn's 65th secondary school rebranding resulted in a call to create an emblem for Tallinn Gymnasium Laanemere in 2000. The assignment was assigned to Boris Mikhalevich, an art teacher who served at the school from 1996 to 2000. A gull soaring over ocean waves is pictured against the backdrop of the sun in the Laanemere gymnasium's logo. According to Svetlana Logusova, organizer of educational work for children based on interests, a seagull and Sun image were incorporated into the emblem. The imagery was chosen because sunset colors dominate the waters of the Baltic Sea where it sets.
