**UPDATE (04 Apr 2020)** A year later, my Ender 3's open-ended feet are still holding up well. This is no surprise since they're not overly springy, but it's reassuring to know a design's stable before installing it on my printer. * * * **UPDATE (13 Apr 2019):** The attached photos show the 25 mm version of these feet fitted to my Ender 3 after printing in Orange SainSmart TPU using some non-standard settings. Check out the Print Settings below for more details. * * * Originally designed by C3D_Miguel, these feet are engineered to snap or slide into the aluminum extrusion frame of the Creality Ender 3 and help dampen printer vibration when printed in flexible filament. The originals stand about 18 mm tall (not counting the fastening tabs). I needed more height so I could use the tall version of Mvieleers' Ender 3 Control Box Case, which requires ≥ 20 mm of clearance. To meet this requirement, I created these scaled versions with 22.5 mm and 25 mm clearance in Tinkercad. The tabs for interfacing with the aluminum extrusion remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless fit like the original design.
