Formats include c4d, fbx, mxs, obj, Advanced Render *.c4d, Final render *.c4d, Fryrender *.c4d, Maxwell *.c4d, and VRAYforC4D. All formats except obj have textures and shaders included. The mxs format is prepared for Maxwell Studio Renderer v.1.7 but may not be fully compatible with newer versions. The obj format is a simple object without textures and materials but includes mapping. Compatible Cinema 4D versions range from R10.5 to higher for all formats except Maxwell, which has an important compatibility note.
