tall cornerblock -OLD-
thingiverse
PLEASE NOTE: This design was a one-off idea of a part that has become obsolete. The files are potentially a 30-60 hour print at proper infill! I DO NOT RECOMMEND PRINTING THESE FILES. The MPCNC has undergone a total revision and the old corner blocks have been totally redesigned. I am no longer working on this design... 3/8/2016: Cleaned up the file a bit and enlarged the screw holes. 2/28/16: Changed my thinking entirely. Trying something completely different, opened up the inside diameter of the hole running along the length of the body to accommodate a 1-1/4 piece of PVC tubing. Thinking I can save a lot of filament and time this way and then glue in the pipe to add rigidity and dampen vibration. Got tired of trying to perfectly level each foot. This design is like adding 8-inch legs (200mm) to the original corner block. Note that there is only an American English version. Also, I added a chase to the inside with exit holes in either direction for cable management. It should be noted that I have not printed this yet; it's a good 30 hour print per leg. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/cifam8ofucG Print Settings: Printer: Allted/Vicious1 MPCNC with MK8 extruder Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .26 Infill: 60-70% Notes: This one will take a long time to print. So, make sure the wife is out of town for at least a week.
