We upgraded our wooden bird feeder after it broke down completely so we reimagined one and printed a brand new model in place of it. The entire bird feeder will print effortlessly without needing any support structures at all. We carefully added manual supports along the roof line in Simplify3D and made sure the roof came out perfectly with a brim printed around it. To follow are some simple steps: The entire bird feeder prints freely without requiring any support to come out smoothly. In fact, we deliberately added extra structural reinforcements using Simplify3D on the roof beams as they curve along to keep everything securely in place.
