I need to send messages to the driver of the car behind me. How many times do you want to ask them to maintain a safe distance? Or, better yet, remind them they've accumulated too many points on their license and shouldn't be speeding, even if the road allows it. Through an array of LEDs coupled with its structure to the car's center headrest, I write messages to the driver behind me. The system is based on Arduino and Adafruit BlueFruit BLE Bluetooth radio. I built an App for iPhone - iPad that manages sentence composition and Bluetooth communication with Arduino. Arduino communicates with the LED array through an SPI port.
