Talking Bender

Talking Bender

I expanded the size of the Bender Bust and integrated some cutting-edge electronics into it. Standing at an impressive 350 mm tall, I decided to split it in two so that it could be printed on my Makerfront in separate pieces. To further enhance its durability, I hollowed out the interior and cleverly inserted a coin slot at the rear of the bust. When a coin is dropped into this slot, the integrated electronics are triggered, allowing an Adafruit Wave Shield to activate Bender's voice functionality. The mouth of the bust lights up with vibrant LEDs as he speaks, adding an extra layer of depth to its already impressive design.
