Talisman Dragon King Keeper
thingiverse
This custom holder is designed for use with the Dragon expansion of Talisman (board game). Its purpose is to store and display tokens related to electing a new king. Players can stack drawn dragon tokens in front of their corresponding color, indicating when three tokens have been collected and a new king has been chosen. The original cardboard crown serves as an indicator, sliding into a slot behind the dragon heads when a new king has been elected. The slot features arched bottoms for a secure fit. Inspired by the design found on Thingiverse (2341075), this holder was adapted to accommodate a stack of three tokens and created multiple versions for each dragon. When printing the dragon heads, be cautious as they are small and may stick to the extruder nozzle if not properly adhered to the print bed. No supports are required for these prints. Tested on a Prusa MKII printer, this design proves reliable and functional. Assembly involves printing the dragon heads separately in three colors and attaching them to a base using glue. Lack pens can be used as a substitute for filament colors if necessary. The sharing of open-source designs is highly valued, and creators should respect the spirit of free sharing by not profiting from others' work without permission.
