This is something I made for my Tales of the Arabian Nights pinball machine. It is very common to have diverter issues on the upper right swirl ramp. This is a result of poor geometry from the factory. The coil sits at an angle that is not parallel with the diverter plunger and the result is binding or a "sticky" coil. This shim is placed under the back coil bracket to set it more parallel with the plunger.
