Takumar SMC 200mm f/4 Scope Rings
thingiverse
This is a set of scope rings that fit the Takumar SMC 200mm f/4 lens--a popular lens for astrophotography. The scope rings' diameters have an extra allowance for adding adhesive felt to prevent marring. I printed mine on an Ender 3 using a Cura file on the "low quality" setting with an adhesion brim, support to print surface only, and an extra wall around infill. The rings feature a spot for attaching the Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, Ultra-Slim Data USB Hub (Model number: AK-A7516012). I added felt to the hub as well to ensure a snug fit. EDIT: The part printed with the above settings cracked. I am re-printing with the parts standing on end to ensure print lines align with the stress of tightening the bolts. I also raised the infill to 40%, used 2 extra walls around infill, and printed using "everywhere" supports. I retained the brim for adhesion and continued using PLA+
