"It's totally radical. Don't even think about judging me!" The Karate Kid is a most excellent thirteen episode animated series which premiered on NBC's Saturday morning lineup. This show still features Daniel LaRusso as his awesome apprentice self, along with his totally righteous mentor Keisuke Miyagi, but it completely ditches the karate tournament idea for an adventure/quest vibe. A teeny-tiny shrine with some seriously powerful healing abilities has been ripped from its resting place on Okinawa, and now it's up to Miyagi and Daniel to get it back in one piece!
