A take-down bow grip, initially handcrafted without CAD files, has been scanned using Geomagic Capture technology. Post-scanning, the mesh file was fitted with poly surfaces in Geomagic Design X software. The final part is designed as it would be machined, with limb holes to be drilled later. A 3D printed verification model, featured in images, was crafted in Spaceclaim for material efficiency and then 3D printed from gypsum powder on a Projet 660 Pro printer.
