Takahashi Epsilon E160ED Cooling Cover and Fan Bracket
thingiverse
The Epsilon has a primary mirror cooling cap on the end of the scope. This cap is held by three screws that make it not very convenient to take on and off often. I designed a simple threaded cap solution that takes the place of the original cover, and reused the original screws. After that I decided it would be neat to be able to thread on a small 12v fan to help facilitate cool down of the primary mirror. So I designed a bracket for a 60mm San Ace fan that I already had lying around. The bracket allows the fan to be threaded on to the cooling port in the place of the cap. The fan is held to the bracket with 4 M4x30mm screws. M4 screw holes on bracket are threaded.
