There are numerous types of Tail Rotor models available for actual helicopters. This particular model is a Rod (push/pull) type Tail Rotor that includes a Tail Gearbox (TGB) and Control Pedal to help understand the fundamental Helicopter Tail Rotor function. Drag Hinge, Flap Hinge, and Cyclic Feathering Function are not necessarily required for Tail Rotor because of Blades being short and vertically installed. The features of this model include: 1. A Rod (push/pull) type Pitch change mechanism that is not a Swashplate Type. 2. A Tail Gearbox (TGB), Bevel Gear Type, which allows for precise gear shifting. 3. Pedal Type Pilot Control mechanism with linkage, providing smooth control over the tail rotor. 4. The Input shaft height has been matched to the TTO shaft height of my MGB model for future use. The Assembly Manual is available in PDF format and consists of 16 pages. It includes detailed instructions on assembly procedures, parts lists, and after-printing treatments based on standard skills such as filing, drilling, tapping, and painting. Downloadable files include STL Files (28 items), with the last two digits of each file name indicating whether it is a "With Support" design or not. When purchasing parts for this model, please note that metal bearings are used for gear shafts and rotor heads. The assembly manual provides further information on required materials such as AL Tube, screws, and other components. The estimated total net print time for this model is approximately 16 hours, assuming the use of PLA filament with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 40% infill, and no raft or support.
