Tail Lamp Nut for Porsche Cayenne (955-631-471-02)
thingiverse
The tail lamp on my Cayenne began to wobble, and slightly separated from the side panel when gently pushed. I quickly identified the problem as being caused by this plastic nut that holds the assembly in place. To replicate it exactly, I created a new design using OpenSCAD, a fun challenge. To create the part, I used ABS, which worked perfectly. Although my replica isn't an exact copy of the original, the one I installed on my car is extremely stable and doesn't wobble at all. The plastic_nut.stl file is ready to be printed and should be straightforward to use. If needed, you can modify the original scad design for customization. From what I've found, this part also replaces P/N 95563147101 and 95563147100, and fits models from 2003-2014. Disclaimer: By using this model, you assume full responsibility for any problems caused by a printed part generated with it. Since 3D printed products made by plastic extrusion methods are layered upon themselves when heated, the resulting parts may not be as strong as injection molded plastics. Additionally, the temperature required to make them pliable is significantly lower than regular plastics. Note: Porsche, Cayenne, and Porsche Cayenne are trademarks of Dr. Ing. h.c. F.
