Taig Home and Limit Switches
thingiverse
These are a complete set of home and limit switch holders/mounts for the Taig mill, specifically designed for those with a CNC model. They utilize OMRON switches (model V-10G6-1C24-K) from Mouser. The Taig mill's X and Y axis rails use 4-40 and 10-32 bolts and square nuts. The necessary hardware to affix the home and limit switches to the Taig mill includes: X-axis switch mount hardware, which fits the Taig X-axis t-slot: a Low-Strength Steel Square Nut with a Zinc-Plated finish, a 4-40 Thread Size; a Zinc-Plated Steel SAE Washer for Number 4 Screw Size; and a Zinc-Plated Alloy Steel Socket Head Screw 7/8" Long. Y and Z-axis switch mount hardware, which fits the Taig Y-axis t-slot and two holes on the Z-axis: a Low-Strength Steel Square Nut with a Zinc-Plated finish, a 10-32 Thread Size; a Zinc-Plated Steel SAE Washer for Number 10 Screw Size; a Zinc-Plated Alloy Steel Socket Head Screw 1" Long; a Zinc-Plated Alloy Steel Socket Head Screw 1/2" Long. The side holes in the designs are for a shielded 2-conductor wire to fit through. Fill or drill out the hole according to your wire choice to affix switches in your CNC arrangement. I used this wire: a Conductor Stranded Cable with Custom Connection from Amazon.
