Taig 5019CR mill stock column home sensor mount
thingiverse
This is a home sensor mount for the Taig Mill with its stock column. The proximity switch I used is the Aotoro TS18-5DN, which operates at 12-24VDC and has NPN output, normally closed. My X table is reversed, so the stepper motor is positioned on the left-hand side as a result. For the Z-axis, consider using a longer screw (10-32 UNF) to secure the mount from behind with a hex nut. Update: On October 19th, 2019, I found that placing the sensor upside-down for the Y-axis helps prevent the chip guard from getting caught between the sensor and carriage.
