Tai Chi Ruler

My brother requested that I 3D print him a Tai Chi Ruler. He pointed out that the versions available for purchase online don't feature a hole running through the center, which is an essential component of the ruler and the practice itself. I took measurements from his wooden version, then modeled it in Rhino 3D, and printed it on my Prusa MK3. To avoid using supports during printing, I split the model into three parts. It assembles with four dowels and glue. You can use your slicer's variable layer height settings to achieve a smooth top surface. In the future, I plan to print it in wood PLA. Parts / Settings: Tai_Chi_Ruler - 25% infill, Archimedean Chords top and bottom layers, seam position set to rear. Tai_Chi_Ruler_Dowels - 100% infill, Concentric top and bottom layers, seam position set to rear. The Tai Chi Ruler is an ancient form of Taoist yoga that utilizes the Tai Chi Ruler instrument in conjunction with eight exercises to promote health and wellness. The Tai Chi Ruler has been associated with a relationship to the proportion of the human body. The term Chih or Ruler signifies measure, which refers to the measurement of the human body.
