St. Munna's Church, a medieval fortified sanctuary, proudly stands amidst a sea of tombstones in the heart of its own graveyard, WM012-076001-. Built on the sacred grounds where St. Munna founded an early Christian monastery, WM012-076003-, this remarkable church and cemetery seem to have been constructed simultaneously. In 1980, observers described it thus: 'This sturdy church boasts a rectangular design with a residential tower standing sentinel at its west end. The church and tower share the same width, giving the impression they were built at the same time. A majestic gothic doorway, crafted from limestone, welcomes visitors to the west end of the north wall of the church, while a weathered sandstone head of a bishop looks down upon them with a haunting gaze.'
